Meeting 3/19

At yesterdays meeting we had lots to talk about. We need fund raiser ideas BAD! So everyone, yes everyone, over the break think of at least 2 ideas that we can use to raise money. We are also going to be having a super service Saturday sometime this month(i will keep you updated on that)

We had a great meeting today. Sorry for all those who missed it. But here's a recap. Dawn Larsen from the Relay for Life committee came and talked to us about the relay! It's going to be SOOO much fun! :)

Upcoming Activities:

Soup- we are selling soup Friday to raise money for convention, come support your club and have a yummy lunch! Tell your friends too!

Easter Egg Hunt- Kiwanis needs our help again this year for their annual Easter egg hunt.
Date: Saturday March 22nd
Time: 9:00
Place: Jensen's Grove

Please come help! we need all the help we can get!

Also The Center in Blackfoot has asked for volunteers from Key Club to go and help with their after school program. They want a few students a week to come after school and help the kids with their homework, or play with them when they get done. If you are interested...Talk to Shayna

2008 Convention

Hey! I just wanted to let everyone know when convention for this year is. It will be held in Boise, On April 25-27. Everyone in the club is invited to attend! It is a blast! Here are some pics from last year:

Relay for Life

Our big service project for this year is the RELAY FOR LIFE! It helps raise money for the American Cancer Society. Which finds cure for cancer! The relay is so amazing! You spend months raising money for it and then we have an overnight walk which is held at the high school track. It is so much fun! Dawn Larsen( a co-chair of the Relay) is coming give us some information and get us excited! make sure you attend next weeks meeting!
